Cool sports cars filled with awesome spy gadgets and weapons? They were a big hit when I was a kid and they’re a big hit this Christmas 2011. Introducing the new Finn McMissile toy car, the suave, British secret agent car from the new Cars 2 movie. Finn McMissile looks great because he is great!
Who predicted that Cars 2 would be such a smash hit? Not me. I thought the first Cars movie was pretty average and I don’t think I was the only one. Clearly though I don’t know kids as well as Pixar does because Cars 2 has been huge and the toy related merchandise from the new movie is going to be top of the hot Christmas toys list this 2011.
Whether you like the Cars movies or not the Finn McMissile toy car has got a lot going for it and it’s easy to see why kids would get excited by it. When I was a kid my prized toy car was a Matchbox replica of James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5 and that’s essentially what this Finn McMissile is based on and will be a great toy for boys.
So what does this Finn McMissile toy car do? Well straight off it looks very, very cool! Press the hood (or bonnet) and out pop two missiles launches that fire. Press the back bumper and up shoots Finns Infra green spy screen at the front to put Finn into full attack mode and another bigger missile launcher springs out of the trunk (or boot).
As this is a car with loads of personality it’s only fitting that it has something to say for itself. Pressing Finn McMissile hood will also have Finn reciting some of his best lines from the movie. And Finn is voiced by Michael Caine; this alone is reason enough for me to want this toy car.
There’s not much more to say than that. It’s a great toy car which will keep your kid well entertained throughout the Christmas period until they lose the missiles, break the car or turn their attention to a new Disney Pixar film. Fortunately for you this Finn McMissile toy car isn’t very expensive!
