There’s really nothing negative to say about this KidKraft Majestic dollhouse except that it may take a few hours to construct, as it is so HUGE! But that’s precisely what I love about it as the large size not only accommodates your children’s existing dolls, but it is more than large enough for several children to play make believe at the same time without getting in each other’s way!
Another practical concern for me was that it is mostly a wooden dollhouse, so it is much more environmentally friendly than many other dollhouses, and is sturdy enough to withstand any playtime abuse! Worth noting also is that KidKraft dollhouses have an option for you to buy spare replacement parts if necessary.
But practicalities aside, the best thing about KidKraft Majestic Mansion dollhouse is the gorgeous detailing of all the rooms and KidKraft dollhouse furniture! For example, the attic room is the nursery, complete with baby’s crib, highchair and building blocks; the kitchen on the ground floor has everything the modern household needs including an ironing board; and in the upstairs living room you’ll even find the household cat in its basket!
And a lot of thought has also been put into the graphics on the walls of each of the eight rooms: there are lotions, potions and toiletries on the shelves and under the basin in the bathroom; the garage is decked out with surf board and bicycle; and there are beautiful pot plants and flowers in the conservatory. All of this just feeds into your child’s imagination, providing them with tons of information to conjure up scenarios for their dolls to play out.
