MGA Entertainment probably thought they were taking a bit of a risk when they brought out the first boy Lalaloopsy doll Patch Treasurechest. Would girls want a boy doll? Would boys even consider playing with a doll? Turns out both boys and girls loved him equally. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Lalaloopsy Land has produced another new boy, Ace Fender Bender, in record time. Personally I’m more of a fan of Lalaloopsy Patch Treasurechest but I can certainly see that Ace is going to have a lot of fans.
Ace Fender Bender Doll
Ace Fender Bender is a boys boy for sure. As his name suggests he’s all about cars and fittingly he was born, or rather his last stitch was sewn, on July 30th which coincidentally Henry Ford’s birthday. So he knows what he’s talking about when it comes to cars. The trouble is that when it comes to cars or anything mechanical Ace Fender Bender loves to take it apart but tends not to be so great at putting everything back together again, which can leave quite a mess. Does that remind you of another little boy in your household? Hmmm, I thought so.
Well at least he’s well dressed for his mucky work which is more than can be said for Blossom Flowerpot. Ace Fender Bender definitely looks cool in his denim jumpsuit, made as he was from a car mechanic’s overalls. The red handkerchief, for mopping his brow and cleaning his hand of grease stains is a particularly nice touch. And his wavy hair and quiff really suit his character.
Lalaloopsy Ace Fender Bender is a bit impulsive to say the least and he’s encouraged in his naughtiness by his cheeky pet monkey. As usual, if your kids are collecting them, you can buy a mini Lalaloopsy doll of Ace.
