The only thing I don’t get about this Lalaloopsy doll is her name. Swirly Figure Eight doesn’t exactly trip off the tongue does it? However the doll itself is great, much more dynamic, in my opinion, than Tippy Tumblelina.

And what a great outfit, she’s made from fabric taken from an ice skaters costume, as you would imagine, and she’s a vision in shimmering pink. With her hair bunched up on the top of her head, a small fluffy white bolero and cute little red shorts before you get to her white and pink ice skates.
I always thought that Patch Teasurechest’s pet parrot was the most amusing of all the Lalaloopsy pets but I may have to revise that view now that I’ve seen Lalaloopsy Swirlys’ pet penguin! He’s a rather rotund pink penguin with bow tie and love heart buttons down his front…genius!
Apparently Lalaloopsy Swirly Figure Eight is a dedicated winner who believes practise makes perfect. While she makes a commendable role model I also think it’s nearer the truth that she likes to spin round and round on the ice with her round penguin until they both get dizzy and fall over.
Along with Mittens Fluff n Stuff, and the special Lalaloopsy Holly Sleigh Bells, Swirly Figure Eight is a great Lalaloopsy choice for a Christmas toy and those kids who love all things snow and ice. She was sewn together on January 20th which is World Penguin day, so on her birthday why not all sit down and watch reruns off famous ice skating routines from the Winter Olympics!? Keep any eye open also for mini Swirly to add to your collection.
