Mini Lalaloopsy Treehouse

Let’s start this review with a look at what this mini tree house comes with and its main features. First off it’s worth mentioning that this Lalaloopsy tree house comes with two Lalaloopsy dolls and their pets to get you started. Mini Lalaloopsy Patch Treasurechest comes with is very funny parrot and mini Lalaloopsy Spot Splatter Splash has her own colourful pet zebra. Now most of the mini dolls, if bought separately, cost between $10 and $15 which means straight away you’re getting good value for money because the price of the treehouse playest with two mini dolls is between $40 and $50.

Frankly though I would say that the mini Lalaloopsy tree house is worth the price just on its own and here’s why. As a kid, and a boy, I was never wild about dolls but I was into play sets and what I would be looking for is lots and lots of options and that’s exactly what this play set has. There are lots of places to put your mini Lalaloopsy dolls (or indeed your other little figurines), in the wicker basket elevator or in the crow’s nest, in the removable summerhouse or in either side of the treehouse proper. And there’s a lot to do as well, there’s a tyre swing on a zip line, hazelnut shell hammocks for a nap, another elevator in the tree trunk, pesky gofers to chase, tools and paint tins to decorate the place. Ultimately two children should be able to share this playset using lots of different mini dolls and have plenty of fun without getting in each other’s way…unless they want to of course!

It does say on the box that this toy is best suited to ages 4 and upwards and this is not only because of the little pieces involved, but also because a lot of the activities and accessories could be a bit fiddly for younger hands which could lead to frustration. However if you’ve a four year old daughter who’s prepared to help her younger sibling then I’m sure that could work too.
