The Monster High product line is not merely confined to a line of imaginatively designed dolls, but is something of a multimedia empire. Inspired by the idea that famous monsters of past horror stories and films might have settled down and had families, these dolls explore a mythical high school where their children attend classes. Since their introduction the dolls and associated products have become a very hot property for Mattel—stores are hard pressed to keep the dolls and their accessories in stock.
Draculaura Review
Draculaura is a confirmed vegan; she neither drinks blood nor eats meat. She’s known to her friends as a sweet, kind and friendly ghoul who loves nothing more than to smile and laugh with her friends. She’s got a pet bat called Count Fabulous and has been romantically linked with Clawed Wolf. She counts among her friends Clawdeen Wolf, Frankie Stein, Ghoulia Yelps, Cleo de Nile, Deuce Gorgon and Lagoona Blue.
Different Versions of the Monster High Draculaura Doll
To date there are six different versions of the Draculaura doll.
Original Draculaura
Draculaura, the debut version of Dracula’s daughter MH debut release, wears a hot pink vest with white buttons over a black fishnet sleeved blouse and a white lace collar. Monster High Draculaura sports a flouncy white mini-skirt with pink details and lace trim. Her black fishnet hosiery match her shirtsleeves, and she rocks knee high pink boots which have grey hearts at the top of the tongue and black laces. Draculaura’s black with pink streaked hair is worn in two pigtails and she carries a black parasol. She has a pink transparent flower pin at her collar and white safety pin earrings. Draculaura comes with her pet bat, Count Fabulous, a pink hairbrush, pink doll stand and a MH diary.
Classrooms Draculaura
Classrooms Draculaura differs from other dolls in the theme by not coming with a locker and class themed accessories. She wears a black top with pink heart pattern, detailed in pink piping around the neck and a pink and white ruffle down the front. Under this shirt she sports a white, long sleeved fishnet turtleneck. She’s rockin’ a two tiered skirt, the top layer of which is pale pink, the bottom layer hot pink, both edged in black lace. She wears white fishnet hose with black legwarmers. Her high heels are pale pink with ankle straps. Her accessories consist of Count Fabulous her pet and a pink hairbrush.
Dead Tired Draculaura
Dead Tired Draculaura is settling down to watch her favourite scary human movies in style. Draculaura’s pajama set is hot pink; the bottoms are patterned in white polka dots, as is her matching sleepmask. Her pajama top is solid hot pink, frilly flounce at the hem; the upper part of the shirt is further detailed in white lace, a black bow, pink polka dot yoke and sleeves. Draculaura wears her hair in two pigtails that are sticking straight up. She has on pink bat themed slippers with tiny black wings. Accessories include a hot pink hair brush and a coffin shaped DVD case as well as a pink doll stand.
Skull Shores Draculaura
Skull Shore Draculaura is all set to enjoy some surfside fun. She is wearing a pink and white striped one piece bathing suit with sailor collar. Her beach wrap is black mesh fabric decorated on a beach theme. Her sandals are pink with anchor shaped heels. Her bling includes anchor earrings and a pink bracelet. She wears a little white sailor hat set at a jaunty angle to the topknot pony tail hairdo she sports. She comes with a map of Skull Shores and a tulip shaped glass of tomato juice with a tiny drink umbrella in white. She also comes with a pink hairbrush and doll stand.
Gloom Beach Draculaura
Gloom Beach Draculaura is ready for yet another aquatic themed adventure. Draculaura wears a one piece black bathing suit, with pink straps and vertical pink heart stripes. The top is edged with white lace and a pink bow. Her swimskirt is yellow with pink polka dots and is tied at her hip with a pink studded ribbon. Her wedge heeled sandals are black with yellow and pink mirrored straps. Accessories include a doll scaled bottle of sun-“scream” (rated at SPF 500) a black hairbrush, black doll stand and a postcard addressed to her friend Lagoona Blue featuring Draculaura at the beach.
Sweet 1600 Draculaura
Sweet 1600 Draculaura is the guest of honor at her milestone birthday party! She’s dressed to kill in a flouncy, black sleeveless cocktail dress with a pink heart outline pattern. The hem of the skirt is edged with frilly white lace and gathered at intervals with red satin bows. She wears a sheer lace heart patterned collar around her neck with a tiny black bowtie. She comes with an alternate outfit, a straight black skirt with a red and black vertical striped flounce at the waist. Her hair is in a partial up-do crowned by a heart shaped pink tiara and dusted with glitter. She carries a pink sequined lip shaped purse with white fangs. As guest of honor she bears no gift, but has a tall multi-tiered pink birthday cake with chocolate frosting. She also comes with a coffin shaped party invitation, a black hairbrush and hot pink skeleton key which can be used to unlock an app on iPad and iTouch devices.
