Gillington, “Gil” Webber is the son of the River Monster—although which river monster he descends from is the subject of much speculation and debate. He could be the offspring of Kelpie, the European water horse demon, or the English River Hag. He may alternatively be the child of the Nix (shapeshifter River spirits); the Kappa (Japanese Water Sprites); Merrow, the freshwater mermaid of Irish mythology; or the Rusalka, succubus/mermaids from Russian folktales. Whatever the truth of his parentage, Gil is a water dwelling freshwater fellow who wears a water helmet on his head to enable him to attend classes at Monster High! Monster High Gil Webber in detail
Monster High Gil is a very laid back individual; one of those sensitive and kind jocks all the ghouls love to dream about. He’s very considerate and will go to great lengths to aid his friends and avoid hurting their feelings. He’s well known for being helpful in class, on the swim team and in any kind of fresh water.
Monster High Gil and Lagoona Blue
His special ghoul is Lagoona Blue which upsets his parents, who don’t like him being involved with a saltwater monster. Lagoona and Gil have an undeniable attraction but are not even allowed to date by his parents. They do get to see each other in class and on the swim team where both are star athletes. Gil counts among his friends Deuce Gorgon, Frankie Stein, Ghoulia Yelps, Slow-Moe and Heath Burns. He may also be a buddy of BOMC Clawd Wolf, who counts all MH students as his best friends.
Gil Webber Appearance
Monster High Gil has light blue skin distinguished by gills and fins which protrude from his neck. His “fish-hawk” hair is a teal colored fin that flops to one side at a rakish angle, the rest of his scalp is covered with scales the same color as his skin. His fingers are webbed and he also sports a line of small fins along the backs of his forearms and calves.

Gil was first introduced in the Skull Shores Monster High doll series. For his day of fun in the sun, Gil is dressed in a black tank top with a white fish bone design on the front outlined in red. He wears teal Bermuda length shorts which sport a stylized wave in white, outlined in black on the bottom of the left leg. He wears kickin’ flip flops with black soles and semi transparent teal straps. He has a waist length necklace around his neck in teal beads with a teal seashell as a pendant. He’s also wearing his water helmet. He comes with a beach drink in the shape of a pineapple with a straw protruding and comes with a map of Skull Shores postcard.
