Nerf N-Strike Maverick Review
It seems that the Nerf Maverick is the Nerf gun of choice for absolutely everyone. Yes, kids love them, and any serious Nerf War aficionado will probably have one in their collection, but their popularity extends to anyone who’s partial to the occasionally toy gun. Office workers the country over have a Nerf Maverick secreted somewhere in their work station ready to use on their unsuspecting colleagues! So why the popularity?
Basically this is a futuristic Dirty Harry toy revolver. It loads and fires like a big plastic Magnum revolver. Fit the six suction darts into the barrel like a normal revolver, click it shut, pull back the trigger and unleash your dart which will fly up to 30 feet. This is a pretty darn accurate toy gun and quick too; you can fire all six darts in just a few seconds. The Nerf N-Strike Maverick Rev 6 has been so popular that Hasbro have released five different versions. They are all defintitely top toys on Tommy’s books – which one will you choose?
Standard Nerf Maverick
Here’s the Maverick in its original form and one for the purists. Always advertised in yellow but can also come in black or orange. Why mess with a classic!? This is the Maverick for Tommy! I’ve always liked my toys gaudy and this Sonic Maverick certainly is just that. The Sonic series was released back in 2010. 9 Nerf guns, including the Maverick were made with bright green clear plastic with interior pieces, triggers, barrels etc made in the more usual orange plastic…out of this world!
