Hmmm… the Nerf Maverick or the Nerf Vortex Vigilon? Well they’re both great Nerf guns but with the new Nerf ammo in the Vortex series and the insane distance they travel I’m going to have to add the Nerf Vortex Vigilon to my arsenal. Nerf Vortex Vigilon Blaster Review
On the one hand you have the awesome Nerf Vortex Nitron which is fully automatic, battery powered and takes a clip of 20 new Nerf discs and on the other hand you have the Nerf Vortex Praxis which is a pump action rifle, or handgun (removable stock), that takes 10 discs so why would you need the Nerf Vortex Vigilon which only takes 5 discs? Simple, because this hand blaster still shoots further and more accurately than many other Nerf toy guns. And besides if you’re serious about your Nerf battles then you need all kinds of weapon options.
And one final reason… the Nerf Vortex Vigilon price is very attractive, much cheaper than the Nitron and Praxis but with the same long range power. Essentially the Vortex Vigilon follows in the footsteps of the classic Nerf Maverick and is a great starter toy gun for your younger kids. Start them off with this cheaper, but no less great, Nerf gun and if they get hooked then they, or you, can save up for one of the bigger guns.
As stated, although smaller the Nerf Vigilon is no less powerful so no shooting or pointing this at some ones face at close range. Not cool. The gun doesn’t have a removable clip, but a panel that clicks open and shut with a satisfying noise and is easy to load. There’s a switch to release any possible jammed discs, which hopefully you won’t need to use too often. You cock the gun from the rear, again with a satisfying lock and load noise, and then release with the trigger. Make sure you buy plenty of extra Nerf ammo so that you can keep reloading.
Tommy says go crazy and buy the Nerf Vortex Proton as well so you have the whole Nerf Vortex series!
