Fangpyre Wrecking Ball Review

Whoever designed this unique Ninjago Lego set deserves a pat on the back. It incorporates great imagination with some very cool design concepts. Of course your child will probably just think “COOL, a wrecking ball machine that looks like a scorpion snake thing!”…and that’s fine too.

The Ninjago Fangpyre Wrecking Ball appears in two episodes of the Ninjago cartoon series Ninjago: Rise of the Snakes. With this set and its mini figures you can act out ninja Cole’s and Lloyd Garmadon’s attempt to swipe the Golden Fangpyre Staff from the clutches of the Serpentine tribe. The serpent Fangdam is going to make that a very difficult challenge indeed as he controls the lethal wrecking ball that has not only, the destructive demolition ball but a venomous tipped tail and vicious fanged jaws. This is definitely a dark vehicle of carnage. The front of the vehicle looks like a big green snake head complete with fangs, while at the back there is a fully articulated scorpion like tail with poisonous tip. The cockpit can be opened and closed to add different mini figures.

What’s Included in the Fangpyre Wrecking Ball Set

As well as the wrecking machine this Lego set includes three minifigures.

The Kendo Cole mini figure is included with a very serious weapon, it’s some sort of golden double ended axe affair with fangs and, I would suggest, he must really know what he’s doing because you could cut your own head off with that!

The Lloyd Garmadon minifigure also looks pretty fierce with his double edged Lightning Bolt Axe but of course the real prize is the Golden Fangpyre Staff carried by the Fangdam mini figure that catches the eye. Talking of eyes, Fangdam seems to have quite a lot of them, surely one of the ugliest mini figures in the Ninjago collection.
