As you are probably aware each doll has its own little back story and every dolls personality is dictated by the material from which they were created, springing magically to life when the very last thread was tied.

What’s very unusual about these two new dolls is that Sir Battlescarred and Lady Stillwaiting are complete fantasy characters that you might find in a children’s story. Now, of course, all the Lalaloopsy characters are made up but until now they have all been grounded in a very recognizable and modern children’s landscape; that is to say they have all been based on very normal child stereotypes. Now suddenly we have 2 dolls from a fairytale. This suggest to me that quite a few new dolls are now planed and we can expect to see all kinds of storybook type dolls on their way in the not too distant future.
As for Sir Battlescarred and Lady Stillwaiting their small stories are as follows,
Sir Battlescarred is made from pieces of a knights armor and is a right tear-away, handy with a bow and arrow, always up for a sword fight (pretend obviously) and ready to storm your castle at the drop of a hat, but by lunchtime he’s all sweetness and light. His personal pet is a dragon.
Lady Stillwaiting is great fun and made from a fair maiden’s robes. A complete dizzy romantic she will spend hours waving longingly from her balcony even if there’s nobody there! The rest of the time she’s singing love songs and readying romantic poetry or playing with her pet unicorn.
At some point these dolls will also be available in Lalaloopsy mini doll form too.
