The Syma S107 RC Helicopter has been in Amazons best selling toys list for the best part of a year, so if you haven’t bought one for your child yet then shame on you. Here’s your chance to make amends for Christmas 2011 with the new Syma S109G Apache RC Helicopter. Read Tommy’s Syma RC Helicopter review below.
In my day remote controlled cars, boats, planes and helicopters were the domain of only the most committed toy nerd. They came in big expensive kits that you had to put together yourself and it seemed that you had to be a fully qualified mechanic to get them to work. I think every kid thought they were super cool and wanted to use them but the reality was that only the technically gifted or committed had the joy of standing proudly in the park flying their plane or sailing their boat across the pond.
Syma Helicopters for Sale
That’s all changed thank to Syma RC helicopters. Now everyone can fly their own RC helicopter! They’re ridiculously cheap, they are ready to fly straight out of the box and, they are tough and their built in such a way that they’re very easy to control and fly with just the minimum of practise. A quick check on Amazon will show you how popular they are, loads of reviews and the vast majority very positive. Of the negative reviews most were to do with technical faults but I guess there are always going to be a few duds; one reason I always recommend buying through Amazon because getting refunds or replacements is never a problem (in my experience). Also it must be emphasised these Syma helicopters are for INDOOR use! They are remote controlled helicopters but they are not radio controlled helicopters. They are controlled via infra red and really won’t work well out of doors.
Syma S109G Apache Review
If you haven’t tried out the best selling Syma 107 then Tommy (and around 1700+ Amazon customers) can highly recommend them. However if you want to score extra points with your kids this Christmas then why not get them the Syma Apache helicopter (S109G). This little battle helicopter sits nicely in the palm of your hand and despite its small size it looks very cool. Like the Syma 107 it has a Syma gyro which makes it incredibly stable, and therefore easy to fly.
I love the twin lights on this Syma RC helicopter, perfect for night flying and terrorising your pets (which of course you would never do, right? (-; ). Despite its plastic body this is a tough little helicopter and can take a few crashes. The Syma helicopters manufacturer say it’s suitable from eight years old but an eight or nine year old might need some help and patient practice before they get really good at flying the Syma S109G Apache. Too much playing and crashing by an over enthusiastic youngster is sure to end in tears eventually.
The Syma S109G Apache is so manoeuvrable. It can turn left and right, fly backwards as well as forwards and, of course, up and down. At around $20 this little machine is incredible value for money and great fun. Just fly it round your room or get creative and add this impressive RC helicopter into your toy soldier battles! When it comes to toys for boys these Syma RC helicopters realy are the best selling toy of the year.
